Chapter 31

May’s words were heard but for some reason they were not sinking in. Someone slipped something into her drink? When? And why was she still hot? May had dragged her outside and they were waiting for a cab to come by, if they waited another five minutes then May was going to call 911.

A sports car drove up to them and the window was lowered to reveal Mark.

“Get in, this would be faster than waiting for a cab.” Mark said and May helped Blessing into the car. She got into the back seat with her while Mark put the car in gear. Even with the air conditioner at a high level Blessing was still fanning herself with her hands, she even tried to take off the playsuit but May stopped her by holding her hand.

“Can you go faster? I can’t exactly hold her for too long. How far are we from the hospital?” May asked Mark who stepped on the gas.

“I can’t go really fast because this is inside the campus and the hospital is fifteen minutes outside the school gate.” Mark said and
