Chapter 9
May's POV
I found Blessing in the room, pacing. I wondered what was going on with her.
“Hey, did something happen?” I asked her. She stopped pacing and walked up to me.
“I wanted to ask you first, but I didn’t know how to ask you,” Blessing said, and I was confused. I didn’t know what this was about, but she didn’t need to be this nervous. We had been through a mini-hell together, so nothing should be too difficult for her to tell me.
“You know you can tell me anything, right? Let’s sit down. What is this about?” I asked her, pulling her to my bed to sit.
“Okay, some of the customers were asking for you earlier for a call, but I told them I couldn’t speak for you. I know you’re not in a good place right now. Heck, me too. But I don’t want you to ever feel alone. I might not have all the answers, but I believe if you talk to me as I would talk to you, we’ll both feel better about the shitty cards that life has thrown at us,” Blessing sai
