For a moment, he just looked at her, speechless. She felt her whole body heating up. There was just something about the way he gazed at her. It was like he's hungry for something.. craving to taste something.

She never thought she'd ever see a man look at her like that. It was just too unrealistic.

"You look.. beautiful," he spoke in a rough voice as he touched her hair.

She never even thought of herself as someone attractive. And here she was, standing before a man who claimed to find her beautiful. She slapped his hand away with a glare.

"Do you think you can trick me with your sweet words?" she questioned. Perhaps this was his way of getting girls. He was always showering her with sweet-coated words, always telling her he wanted her to be happy.

His eyes were on fire as he glanced down into her eyes. "I'm not lying."

Anastasia gritted her teeth. "I don't care. J
