Chapter 23

Perhaps this was one of the happiest moments of her life. It was as if the moon looked down at them and showered her wonders unto them. The stars were sparkling up in the night sky, the way her eyes sparkled when she looked at him. Anastasia watched as Draco shifted back into his wolf form. It was surreal and she hadn't seen anything so beautiful.

She climbed onto his back as he ran back to the mansion. Being on his back felt like she was flying. He was fast. She had to hold him tightly. When they reached the gates, Anastasia could still hear the sound of music from the pool. Draco shifted back to his human form and looked as if he was ready to pounce on her. She quickly covered him again with her shawl.

With a laugh, he pinched her cheek.

Even in the darkness, she could see him taking something from beside the gate. It was his shorts. Blushing, she looked away as he wore them.
