I continued to gaze at her as she found the right words. “Alpha, my mate said; while he was coming towards here, following through the woods, he saw your mate, but then she didn’t see him. She was heading north.”

I didn’t wait to listen to more of what she had to say. With urgency in my voice, I instructed the guards, “Search every corner of the woods. Leave no stone unturned. You must find her!”
