Rose’s POV

As we stood at the doorstep of the house, Joe placed his hand on the door and knocked twice. Suddenly, someone pulled the door open. The man had messy hair and gray eyes, and he looked like he had been drinking. He was wearing a loose vintage shirt and matching white shorts. He seemed quite reserved.

“Oh! Hey, Joe,” he exclaimed as he shook his head to give Joe a handshake. Joe responded as he shook his hands too, and they both shook hands. “It’s been a while, huh?” he said.
