Alpha Kanen’s POV

Miraelle’s reaction was rather shocking. She paused, Her hands were shaking up and her eyes were wide open. She must’ve been shocked to see me there unexpectedly. I slowly walked in Miraelle’s direction and faced the two guards who were with her.

Without uttering a word I gave them a cold gaze telling them to leave at once. They both left in fear. I turned back to Miraelle with a straight face while looking her in the eye. Miraelle was still shocked, looking directly at me.

“W…why are…y…you here?” She said, stammering.

With the way she spoke while stammering, I could tell how scared she was. But the question now is why was she scared and what was she afraid of?

I bent down and brought my face closer to her, she looked away trying to avoid my gaze.

“Are you surprised? Or scared? You must’ve been shocked to see me this way right?” I said with a smile.
