Rose’s POV

When the blast took place, something I cannot explain happened.

Joe and I found ourselves in a place called the wood of knowledge and walked for what felt like hours.

The trees around us were tall, their branches stretching up to the sky, blocking out most of the sunlight.

It was cold, and the air felt thick, like something was watching us.

I had no idea where we were, and the more we walked, the more lost I felt.

“Joe,” I said quietly, looking around. “Where are we?”

Joe stopped, his eyes scanning the area. He looked just as confused as I felt. “I don’t know, Rose. I thought we were heading back, but…this doesn’t look familiar at all.”

I nodded, trying to stay calm. My heart was racing, and I could feel the panic rising in my chest.

The woods seemed endless, every direction looking the same. Tall trees, thick bushes, and no sign of a path. It was like we had wandered into a place that didn’t want us to leave.
