POV: Denvereaux Thorne

It took him time to heal, especially his left arm which was still cast with a bandage. It was his hibernating period and Shekinah was there. However, she rarely went to his room. She would just leave him his food and medicine and that’s it.

He doesn’t have the chance to ask her about her claim of being Shea’s sister – which he still needed to confirm. He didn’t know whether he could trust her still, but he wasn’t closing his doors about it.

Denver heard the door creak – signaling him that the woman who introduced herself as Shekinah entered his room. There were no other people around so he would say that she was living alone to God knows where the hell is this place.

“Who are you really?” He seriously inquired.

Her creepiness was the only thing that was making him feel uncomfortable. Shekinah just looked at him without any emotions on her face. Even her eyes were like a black hole with no soul reflecting in it. It made him uneasy.
