“W-What happened to her?” He heard the annoying and loud lady whisper under her breath.
He couldn’t help but look at her melancholic demeanor. It was his first time seeing her this way and he didn’t like the idea that he was kind of sympathizing with her right now.
Denver heaved a deep sigh.
“Let’s give her time.” He said but Carrie just gave him a deadly glare.
Up until now, she hadn’t heard a word from him. She still blamed him for what happened to Shea that day.
“Give her time? Is that what you are doing all this time? The reason why Shea is like that?” Carrie was overruled by her emotions now.
He let out a breathy sigh.
“Carrie…” He called her but like what she gave to Denver – the woman just glared at him.
