He had planned everything already – to ask Shea once again and to express his real intentions in words.

Denver wanted to come clean with Shea once again. He wanted to prove that his intentions were clear and that he wanted to prove himself again.

And he also knew that knowing Shea, it wouldn’t be easy. He knew that it wouldn’t, but he still tried. Seeing her pour her heart out scared him and gave him strength at the same time.

It was scaring him because she might mean what she said – and he wouldn’t have the chance to be forgiven. However, it also made him strong that regardless of whether it might be her absolute decision or not, he would still prove himself. He would still ask her forgiveness.

Especially by seeing her being broken in front of him. It hurts him so much while seeing her like that. Especially, that it was because of him.
