“I am hoping for a positive answer, Shea. Because if you want to give us a second time, I wanna ask you to go to the gazebo tomorrow evening… And if not… well… maybe, it’s time for us to just remain as friends… And I will send you back to the Riverstone Village and I will stay here in the palace… for good. I am setting you free… I am giving you a chance and choice to be free… from me.”

It was a bittersweet proposal… of freedom… of chance and choice.

She couldn’t deny the fact that hearing those words from Denver had made her more broken that when she heard him that he was finally safe.

“Why aren’t you sleeping yet?” Shekinah suddenly appeared in the adjoining balcony that they had in their rooms.

She couldn’t sleep. Her mind was still bugging with too many questions inside, and she couldn’t deal with the various emotions that were making her feel confused.

“Are you bothered with something?” Shekinah tried to guess.
