Enzo didn’t go to work the next day because he was teaching Riza how to swim. I stood by the side of the pool, watching them, and couldn’t help but smile as Riza swam towards me with her uncle’s help. Halfway through the lap, Enzo removed the hand that had been supporting Riza’s stomach, and she continued to move towards me, with Enzo still by her side, keeping a close watch.

A proud smile touched my lips as Riza reached the end of the pool. I bent down as she leaned against the edge, facing me, and I could see happiness radiating all over her face.
