Enzo might still be in the shower, pondering on how to get even with me.

Finally, I heard footsteps after a minute or two, but they walked past my room, and I sighed in disappointment.

I opened my door, and saw Enzo enter his room, a towel wrapped around his waist. I took the opportunity and hurried my way to the bathroom, making sure that I had locked it.

Inside was warm and steamy from the bathwater. After everything happened today, there was nothing I wanted more than to submerge myself.

I really didn’t expect Enzo to come back here, and the worst, he was Liza’s stepbrother. I wasn’t prepared for anything like this. I wasn’t prepared for him in this house.
