Freya’s POV

“Silas? What are you doing here?”

He pauses on the spot, looking at me with a suddenly startled expression and surprise.

If anyone should be surprised, I should be. He’s at the girl’s dorm when everyone’s getting to bed, tiptoeing right past my room.

I look back towards the direction he’s coming from and where he’s most likely heading to. Sure enough, he’s leaving but where has he been?

“Where are you coming from?” I ask out loud, pondering on it out of curiosity.

“Freya… Okay, I need you to believe me on this. I’m coming from Elena’s room but before you start thinking about it; no, we didn’t do anything, nothing happened either. It was strictly business.” He begins explaining and unfolds the very same document I had seen hours earlier.

“See? I just needed her to sign it and make it official. I was straight with her and left immediately after the conversation was over.”

“Silas, relax.” I say, calm once he begins fill
