Freya’s POV

I’ve lost track of how long I’ve remained rolled up into a human Swiss roll crying my eyes out, hoping silently that he comes back and that this isn’t over.

But he doesn’t ever return, and I’ve resigned myself to this new reality in front of me.

All that’s left is for me to leave on my own.
