Freya’s POV

I have never slept so peacefully in the longest time, never woken up feeling fully rejuvenated and relaxed, and feeling it right now was a whole new different sensation.

It’s heavenly, paired with the strange sense of warmth and comfort wrapped around me. I hear gentle and slow breath and a softly thumping heartbeat, like a lullaby.

I sigh, enjoying every moment and cuddling even deeper to the warm brick wall head rest—before I realize there’s no such thing as a brick wall with a head rest, and the bed is too soft to be mine.
