Chapter 90
Freya’s POV
I sniffle, rubbing against my sore, wet eyes with the sleeves of my shirt.
The slight abrasion burns the tender skin under my eyes but having red puffy eyes is the least of my worries right now.
Even with the small movement, my arm trembles from the previous trauma.
Every time I make the mistake to close my eyes, I can feel him holding me down against my will, the horrible stench of his scent nauseating my wolf and that sinister grin on his face.
Then disgust and rage overcomes me again, and I wish I could go back in time only briefly, to do more than rip out a small chuck of his lips.
Clawing his eyes out would be more suitable for a scum like him.
I laugh at myself.
Who am I kidding, trying to act all tough?
Even now, I’m crawled into a small human ball in the corner of this empty lab room in school, waiting for Silas to return from wherever he had gone to.
