Chapter 97
Silas’s POV
All the while I walk through, my eyes search for no one else but her.
It will be easy to spot her just by picking her scent in the air. Her sweet and savory scent.
Weird enough, I don’t pick it as easy as I usually do, which probably means she’s farther away.
As I search, my eyes make contact with Elena a few feet away, watching me with a pissed off glare and red puffy eyes.
The look she gives me is one of vendetta, and I only assume she’s thinking up ways to get back at me.
But there are much more important things on my mind right now, so I look away. Few feet ahead in the other direction, I spot Freya’s friend that sticks to her like glue and has too much gut that I find heavily annoying, standing off alone. I really don’t want to but without a choice, I move closer to her, deciding to enquire on Freya’s whereabouts.
