Chapter 143. Are You Hungry?

A few days later. Emerald woke up early that day, and Patrick was still in a coma.

She made the breakfast deftly. After eating, she started to check out the things left in their house. Then she rested for half an hour and felt pretty good. She started working in and out without the machine soldiers noticing.

When she entered the bedroom, the beautiful sunlight shone on Patrick’s face. His face had no emotion, and his black eyes were staring blankly.

Emerald took a warm towel to wash his face and gave him the gargle. After washing up, Emerald found his face was rosier than yesterday and felt relieved.

“Are you hungry?” Emerald smiled at him brightly, carried a bowl of porridge for him, and sat beside him.

He looked at her sweet smile and struggled to sit up. His voice was husky, “I’ll eat myself.”

Emerald suddenly raised her hand and patted his cold face, “Just listen to me.” Then she filled the spoon with porridge and pushed it into his mouth
