I stepped into the room, and Sabrina stomped over to me.

“How long did you know, and why the fuck would you keep something like this a secret?” she yelled at me, and I looked at her.

“I knew on the very first day. I’m sure you didn’t observe that the color of her hair was off and she looked paler than before, so don’t blame me,” I snapped at her as I walked into the room and knelt beside her bed. She looked sick.

“Doctor, isn’t there anything that can be done for her?” Lucas asked. I could tell he was upset.

“I’m sorry, the cancer is at its final stage, and her system is beginning to shut down. It’s only a matter of time before she leaves this world,” the doctor said, and Sabrina cried out as she dropped to her knees.
