“How long did you know, and why the fuck would you keep something like this a secret,” she yelled at me and I looked at her.
“I knew on the very first day, I’m sure you didn’t observe the color of her hair was off and she looked paler than before, so don’t blame me,” I snapped at her as I walked into the room and knelt beside her bed, she looked sick.
“Doctor, isn’t there anything that can be done for her,” Lucas asked I could tell he was upset.
“I’m sorry, the cancer is at its final stage and her system is beginning to shut down, it’s only a matter of time before she leaves this world,” the doctor said and Sabrina cried out as she got to her knees.
“Tell me you can do something, please, help her, she’s all I have,” she cried out, and for the first time I saw Sabrina so broken, she looked taken back by the news and I felt guilty from the words I told her before that she didn’t care of her mother.
