Chapter 47. Amelia, Ava and lily

The news hit me as my eyes widened. Lucas’ mother had died in the Black villa, and she was murdered on top of that, which meant this went deeper than I could ever imagine.

“Look, settle in. Well, this is your room. Your wedding is in a few days, so I just wanted to show you the room you can move into. Meanwhile, I have something to attend to,” she said in a hurry and rushed out without waiting for a word from me.

I sat there, shocked as I looked around the room. It was more luxurious than the one in the Blacks’ mansion. I was getting used to being in luxurious rooms. I sat in shock. Several questions ran through my head, and I needed answers.

I was distracted when the door opened, and Lucas strolled in. He had a smirk on his face as soon as his eyes fell on me.

“Well, here you are. I was starting to think you left already,” he said
