Chapter 52. Britney's Threat

Ava glared at Britney. I could tell they both didn’t have a good relationship by the way they stared at each other.

“Call off the lawyer, Britney,” Ava ordered. Britney seemed so pissed off.

“Why, Mum?” she groaned.

“Why does she seem to interest you all of a sudden? She tried to kill me!” Britney exclaimed.

“Get a grip on yourself, Britney. You must have pissed her off enough for her to attempt that,” Ava responded with a small smile on her face as she watched Britney’s face twist in rage. I could tell she was pissed off.
