Chapter 52. Britney's Threat

Ava glared at Britney, I could tell they both didn’t have a good relationship by the way they stared at each other.

“Call off the lawyer, Britney,” Ava ordered Britney who seemed so pissed off.

“Why mum?” She groaned.

“Why does she seem to interest you all of a sudden? She tried to kill me!” Britney exclaimed.

“Get a grip of yourself, Britney, you must have pissed her off enough for her to attempt that,” Ava responded with a small smile on her face as she watched how Britney's face twisted in rage, I could tell she was pissed off.

“She wouldn't get away with this I promise you,” Briteny said as she stormed out of the room.

The woman watched her leave before she turned to me, she smiled at me as she came to sit next to me, my mother watched her in suspicion, and I couldn't help but see that something wasn't right here.

“Excuse me but, I thought you were here to scold me for trying to kill your daughter not…'' I trailed off as she held her hands up.<
