Chapter 101. That Was a Disaster
Calista’s POV
I blinked, the reality of the situation hitting me like a ton of bricks. I hadn’t even considered that the damage might be more than just a messy kitchen. “You mean… I might not be able to cook here at all?”
“It’s possible,” Draven replied, nodding. “But let’s not jump to conclusions. We’ll call someone to take a look and figure out what needs to be done.” He said while looking around.
Zane pulled out his phone, already dialing. “I’ve got a guy who can come over and assess the damage. He’s pretty quick, so we’ll know soon enough what we’re dealing with.”
I watched as Zane stepped out onto the balcony to make the call, leaving me with Cedric and Draven.
Cedric gave me a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, Calista. Even if you can’t use the kitchen for a while, we’ll figure something out. We won’t let you go hungry.”
Draven nodded. “We’ll make sure you’re taken care of. You’re not alone in this.”
