The whistle blew, and the match surged into motion with a burst of adrenaline. The field came alive with energy as players darted and weaved, the ball zipping across the pitch with breathtaking speed. The crowd’s roar was a living, breathing entity, swelling with every pass, making me feel nervous.
“You’re a monster, Zane,” I whispered despite the roaring cheers around me, my voice barely audible over the cacophony of the stadium.
Zane was the picture of perfection. He moved with incredible skill—sharp turns, strong steps, and a focus so intense it felt almost magical. He weaved around his opponents with a grace that made everyone watching hold their breath. Each step he took and every ball he handled was done with such precision and power that it drew everyone’s eyes.
I can see why people idolize him so much, especially with him being the captain of the team. His presence commands attention, making his role undeniable.
