Chapter 11. The Blossoming of Maria's Feelings

Martin saw Esther, who was looking happy while she was cooking. Occasionally her mouth hums something. She didn't even care about Martin sitting at the dinner table.

"Did anything good happen?" Martin asked.

"No sir, I'm just feeling happy today." Esther returned to continue cooking her.

"Why don't you play the piano anymore, Esther?" Esther stopped her hand movements that were chopping food.

"Dad and mom do not believe in your ability to play the piano. I told them that, you are very good at playing the piano, but none of them believed what I said. I want to show them that I'm not a liar."

''Why don't you want others to know about your unique skills?

"I don't understand what you're talking about sir." Esther didn't seem to want to respond to Martin's words.

"Huh? You certainly know exactly what I'm talking about, Esther!"<
