Chapter 154. Stay with Me or Leave Me

Martin has returned to Richcounsin, but his thoughts are still in Angela's apartment. The ring he gave Angela was proof of the bond between the two. However, he still needs to receive Angela's consent to get married. And now Martin is having lunch with Dawn and Chris.

''I invited you to have lunch together because I want to discuss something important.''

Dawn and Chris stopped eating, looking at Martin, who looked nervous.

Martin took a deep breath and said the words on his mind in one sentence with a firm tone.

"I want to marry Angela."

‘’What?’’

Chris seemed very surprised by Martin's sudden statement. He never knew that Martin was close to his daughter, unlike Dawn, who looked relaxed when she heard those words come out of Martin's mouth as if she could already guess that this would happen.

''What are you saying?''

''You heard it clearly, Mr Chris. I wil
