"Oh, sis? Are you leaving?" Cathy asked Adrienne, breaking the silence.

Adrienne nodded with a smile. "Yes, I have a business trip to Azura with the boss, so I need to pack, and our flight is later."

Indi chimed in, teasingly, "Wow, fancy. So weak."

Miko and Cathy agreed, smirking, while Adrienne winced at their playful banter. "True, mare. How does Pedro seduce? Did he caress you? Romance you? Hahaha."

"Watch your mouth, Cathy. He just apologized, and that's it. I don't want to escalate the situation," Adrienne replied calmly.

Miko shook his head. "You're different, Adrienne. You can handle all of this. I can't even imagine Boss Pedro apologizing."

Adrienne smiled, feeling that Pedro had treated her more gently lately. There was a mix of affection and possessiveness in his actions, giving her a glimmer of hope, even though she knew the situation wasn't entirely right.

After her workday, Adrienne went home and started packing her things for the bus
