Pedro couldn't believe his eyes when an exquisitely beautiful woman approached him, wearing a radiant smile that seemed to light up his entire existence. The sight of her was simply breathtaking, surpassing any beauty he had ever encountered. However, his gaze couldn't help but notice that her choice of attire, a sleeveless ribbed turtleneck dress, seemed rather out of place, concealing some of her natural charm. Although the dress accentuated her well-toned physique, Pedro couldn't help but find it absurd. Why on earth would someone wear a turtleneck in the scorching heat of summertime?

"Miss McBride, what are you doing here?" he asked as soon as he recognized her. "To meet someone," she replied casually because she wasn't at work. "Must be your boyfriend, huh?" Pedro remarked, his voice tinged with curiosity.

Adrienne remained silent, apprehensive about making a misstep. Instead, she gathered her thoughts and inquired, "And what brings you here, sir?" she asked again b
