Two weeks later, Adrienne stared at the stylish apartment with wooden decorations on the outside. She was positive that the rectangular windows in an asymmetric way would let in plenty of light during the day. Unlike her old place, the house was equipped with a modern kitchen, cozy dining, and two modern bathrooms. The living room was large as if it was designed to entertain a lot of guests. The apartment itself spoke of money especially the furnishings inside her bedroom.

Did she regret her decision?

She had no idea just yet. It’s her second day at Pedro’s apartment as his mistress. Yes, she agreed to be his mistress. Although there was money involved in her agreement with Mrs. Lassiter, the main reason why she agreed was because of her feelings for Pedro. Once and for all, she wanted to experience to live with a man she has feelings with. She promised Jasmine that she would only give it a try for a few weeks then she would go back home or she’s only trying to fool herself.
