Asher’s POV

[Flashback continues]

The workload was becoming cumbersome because exams were fast approaching so the library is always filled to the brim. I sat at a corner of the window side, opening pages of a textbook when a voice called me.

“Hey, Asher!” Lydia waved at me from the library. Her back was leaned against a shelf.

“Hey, Lydia.” I smiled at her. She was the definition of perfect with her high cheekbones, thin pink lips, and average height of 5’4 compared to my towering height of 6’3. She walked toward me in a beautiful grace, her skirt was as good as new, clearly fixed.

“How is operation reading for exams going?!” She sat in front of me with a beautiful smile that revealed her pearly white set of teeth with parted space in the middle.

“I’m doing fine, how is operation standing up for yourself going in this school?” I closed my book to give her my full attenti
