Chapter 81. The History
Helena’s POV
I froze to hear that, but I pushed Constantine’s chest hard. I moved backward and shielded myself with the pillow. “It’s not a good way to win my heart. If you want me to be your wife, you must treat me well, not force me against my will.”
Constantine stared at me and stroked his chin. “Oh, so you want an old way of courtship. Fine, I can do that, princess.” He grinned. “But we can save time by going straight to the main course.”
“No, thanks.”
“Not even if I tell you something you may find interesting?” He grinned at me.
“About my parents? You told me you would share about it. So it’s not something you can use as a bargaining reward.”
Constantine laughed out loud. “You are intriguing my interest. I like you.”
I tilted my head. “I’m still curious. Why do you want me from the beginning?”
“To answer it, I should tell you about your parents and yourself.”
“But is your information true?”
“Why should I lie to you?”
