Ramon POV

“Certainly, Alpha Ramon. What are the details?”

“Oliver Sanders, age five. Currently under the guardianship of his brother Lake Sanders, age nineteen. I want legal custody transferred to me as quickly as possible.”

There was a brief pause, as she seemed to be taken aback by my unusual request. After all this was the first time that I was adopting someone. Anyone I adopted meant that they had a legal claim to my properties and would be treated with respect as they would be added to the family tree.

“Sir, if I may ask, what’s the rush? Adoption proceedings usually take months, especially when there’s an existing guardian who might contest—”

“The existing guardian won’t contest,” I interrupted her gently as I needed her to give me what I wanted without asking unnecessary questions. “And I don’t want months. I want days.”

“I’ll see what I can do, but there are legal requirements—”
