Devyn’s POV
I rubbed my temples, tension suddenly weighing on me. The cause of the child’s death was still unknown, and I felt the longer we took to find it, the nearer an impending doom drew.
As I approached the meeting ground, Liam and Gina were already there waiting, along with Diana.
We had some unexpected visitors today, and that was exactly why I was here.
There were two women, one younger and the older slightly older.
The younger woman had skin as pale as alabaster, and her hair had a similar color to Diana’s pale gray. Her features were soft and feminine. The older woman had masculine features, with brown hair and forest-green eyes. I noticed the birthmark on their necks, indicating their origin.
