Raven’s POV

Laying in the hospital bed, I watch as the doctor pokes and prods at different areas of my body, trying to gauge how much feeling I have left in my extremities.

“Close your eyes. Okay, Luna Queen,” the doctor says to me. “Can you feel this?”

I keep my eyes closed like I was asked, and I cannot feel where the doctor is touching me. I open my mouth to speak before I remember that I cannot, so I shake my head no.

“You can open your eyes now, Luna Queen,” the doctor says kindly.

Opening my eyes, I look around me, and I frown. It is still only my fathers in the room. There is no sign of either of my mates. Irritation at their delay rushes through my body, and I can feel my blood beginning to boil.

“Luna Queen,” the doctor pulls me from my inner thoughts. “Are you able to mind link anyone?”
