Chapter 488. Drives Me Crazy

Edward POV

Macy drives me crazy. She can’t keep running when things get hard. I want to spend the night lecturing her about what it means to be a leader, but the way her tongue slides into my mouth makes me forget everything. There will be time to discuss leadership responsibilities later.

Her wings flutter excitedly when I cup her face in my hands. The scent of her arousal fills the air, and I growl into her mouth. She smirks against my lips and pulls away.

She bats her eyelashes innocently as she looks at me. “Weren’t you planning on lecturing me about something?”

“Shut up,” I grumble.

Winston stands with her in his arms and lays her on the bed. Her wings are sprawled out at her sides, and her fingers are tangled in her hair. She is so beautiful I find myself staring at her. Apparently, Winston feels the same way because he hasn’t taken his eye off her either.
