Destin POV

“Open the fucking door, Destin,” Edward shouts.

I crack the door open and glare at him. “I am not interested unless you have your sister with you.”

He scoffs loudly. “You have fucked up. She isn’t coming back.”

I refuse to let him in the cabin. He is not welcome in my home. Maybe I would let Winston come in, but not this asshole with his quick temper. The twins are pushing me from side to side, trying to get me to move out of their way. They aren’t speaking to me now that Wren has left. They are angry that I took their Birdie from them. One of them forces their way between my legs and squeals.

Edward looks down and softens his gaze. “Hey, Coren.”

“Are you here to take me to Birdie?” He whispers to Edward.

Edward bends down to speak to the child between my legs. It is incredibly uncomfortable. I step around Coren and let Edward come into the house, but they stay at the door. “Who is Birdie?”

“The pretty wolf girl with
