Ruby’s POV

The table splintered under the force. Fur flew throughout the room. I glanced toward my mother, who looked frightened and confused. I slipped out of Tate’s hold and rushed to her.

“Are you okay?” I asked, and she cupped my face. I nodded as a few warriors barged into the room. Manon and Shane shifted back after subduing their opponents. Alpha Temmus lay on the floor, while Alpha Prius checked on him. Their entourage glared and snarled at us.
