Chapter 289. Bell

After work for the day as a guard, which was actually not so bad, we went to the entrance of the mansion to get food. It was put in clean containers and given to us, everyone had one container and it had dinner and water in it. The food was quite good since I hadn’t expected something as nice as this for guards. We sat down outside the mansion and ate, in a sort of covering. After eating everyone took their plates and out it in this large drum and sealed it then they started to walk towards a building. As we walked to the building we saw some others coming out of the building and they were dressed. They were probably the men taking the night shift.

I just realized I was actually part of the morning shift. We got inside the building and as soon as we got in they started to go to separate rooms. They just separated themselves and it seemed like they knew which rooms to go to so they just went. I needed to think fast, I wasn’t about to give them the impression that I didn’t know wher
