I turned to him. “If you had nothing to do with it what is this letter then? You sent this to Felix? The both of you have something to do with what happened not so?”

“No…….I promise. We had nothing to do with it. We had no idea of what happened. Please.”

He sounded too believable even though there was a letter here that proved he had something to do with it. Before Ryder became fully involved in the pack affairs I was the one in charge for a while and I interrogated a lot of people. I had more experience then and I knew that sometimes when all evidences pointed to one direction it meant that wasn’t the right thing. But how was I going to convince Ryder about that? He was greatly disturbed I could tell. He wasn’t thinking straight. He probably wouldn’t be able to unless he saw Lovette again. If Gina was taken from me I would feel the same way too.

I wouldn’t be able to sleep or breathe or think unless she was returned to me.
