Chapter 49. Agatha and Eleanor Get Thrown out
“You don’t want to do this……..” her mother started to say.
“Oh I do Agatha. I’ve been wanting to do this for the longest time. Now get out.”
Agatha threw Daphne a cold glance before she turned and left.
I went to take Daphne from Clara and into my arms. “You…….you shouldn’t have……….”
“I should have done this a long time ago. I’m glad I did it now.” Every other person in the room left leaving just me and Daphne. I could tell she was still a bit scared about the incident, so I helped her walk to the couch and say her down, placing a throw pillow behind her back to support her.
“Tell me what happened Daphne.”
At that moment the door opened again and Clara came in with a set of napkins and a bowl of warm water. She dropped it on the short table in front of us and left.
“I………..I was sleeping when I heard loud knocks on the door.” She began. I picked up a white napkin, soaked it in the water and began to dab her neck gently to clean out the blood.
