Chapter 58. Rumors of a War

Basit’s POV.

“A war you said?”

“Yes, Alpha. There have been rumours about a war that is stirring up at Diamond Crescent……….”

“Who are they fighting with?” I asked the pack leader.

“The rumors says the war is between green moss and them?”

“Green moss?” I asked surprised.

“Yes.” The pack leader nodded and continued. “Alpha Fergus Thornshield had declared war because according to him you have disrespected his family and held parts of them hostage……”

“That is utterly insane!” I exclaimed.

“Well that is what he says. And it seems like it is true because there are actually some Thornshields in the pack.” One of the other pack leaders on the table turned and looked at me. “About two of them if I’m not mistaken. We shouldn’t let such a trivial issue be the cause of a war….”

“There’s more to the story David trust me……..” I said sarcastically. “If indeed it was just about the two ladies here it won’t have been an issue. But there is more t
