It was 4:05pm now.

Emma bit her lips, as she checked the time on the silvery watch band on her left hand.

“She is not coming.” Esther stated, frankly.

“She has been kidnapped.”

“And how are you sure of that?” Derek asked her.

They had gone into the café after the decision to wait, and had come out immediately the time had reached 3pm.

He had conveyed the present issue to his gamma and beta, and although they were skeptical about waiting on a witch, they had stayed and kept on serving tables.

“The house was in disarray when I came back from classes today.” Esther replied; her voice laden with sadness.

“Any ideas on who might have done that? Anyone your aunt has issues with?” Emma asked, also frantic with worry. Her only hope of getting answers to her questions had disappeared.
