Chapter 104

Kathryn, Judith, and I sat around the table. We smiled and ate and I was glad that Judith was finally free from her wicked grandmother and stepbrother. She is staying with Audrey now even though she was still waiting to collect her inheritance from her late father's lawyer as she had told us. Which includes a house, money, and some other properties which her stepbrother had prevented her from collecting from the lawyer.

I was happy for her. We ordered the same meal. Soon, our boyfriends joined us and we ate.

"Jeez! I can't wait for this trip. It's going to be fun, I mean. Since it's free. Everyone is eligible to go."

How was I going to tell them I was not going with them on the trip? I made eye contact with Judith and then Drake. I know already knows what was in my mind.

"You are not going with us?" She asked.

I dropped the fork and gulped down a glass of water.

"No, I am not."
