The moment I stepped out was when the bell rang indicating we are in closing hours.

I tried to pull up a smile even though I was exhausted but it didn't take long before it disappeared. I held in the tears that were threatening to fall. It mustn't fall in their presence. They can't see me cry which will make suspicion rise. I hate explaining myself to people no matter what.
