Bella POV

When I woke up, everything around me was dark and cramped. The space was tight, pressing against my shoulders, and it didn’t take long to realize I was moving. My body jolted with each bump of the road, and when I tried to lift my hand, it hit against something hard.

I started banging on it, desperate for a response, but no one answered. Panic rose in my chest, fast, sharp, suffocating. I was in a moving car, trapped in what felt like the trunk.
