Ever since my mom returned from Clara’s, something about her has changed completely. She’s brighter now, more alive somehow. There’s a light in her eyes that I haven’t seen in years, and she’s always smiling, like whatever had been weighing her down is finally gone.

I really do like this new version of my mom. She’s lighter, happier—almost glowing. I don’t know what happened over at Clara’s, but whatever it was, it’s for the best.
