Chapter 56. More Secrets

Hazel sat in the small leather chair across from her aunt, while Zander stood behind Hazel with his hands on her shoulders. Julia took the cup from the saucer and raised it to her lips, she took a sip of the exotic tea, she had her pinky out and her eyes glued on Hazel. She was waiting on Hazel to react.

Hazel stood up and began to march back and forth across the room. Her eyes looked wild and she was biting her nails to the quick. She paused for a few seconds and looked at her aunt. Julia took another sip of the tea, then she placed the cup and saucer on the coffee table nearest to her. She repositioned herself in the large leather sectional, she squinted her eyes quizzically at Hazel. Hazel raised her hands dramatically through the air, shook her head and began pacing all over again.

Zander was also in a state of shock, but he was handling it better than Hazel. He just stood there watching his mate pacing around in circles like a mental patient. J
