Chapter 69. Plan
The door to my quarters was closed. I was so nervous about seeing Hazel.
She tried to talk to me the morning after I woke up from the sleeping gas, but I ignored her. If it wasn't for her and Timothy we all would be dead. She told Timothy that her intuition was telling her that something was wrong, so he used his wolf hearing and listened in on the chaos inside. He later mind-linked for back up.
‘Just go on inside.’ Gidian was anxious to see her.
I sighed.
I pushed the door open and her scent wafted into my nostrils. I missed her so fucking much.
I surveyed the area but I didn't see her.
‘Check the bedroom,’ Gidian implied.
I sauntered to the bedroom door, the aroma of lavender and chocolate got stronger. I twisted the knob and crack the door. The heartbreaking sound of her indistinct sobs danced in my ears.
She was crying. My kitten was crying.
I entered the bedroom, I saw her curled up
