I drew in a deep breath and analysed my reflection in the mirror. I could not fathom the reality that this day had produced. I was getting married the same day I turned 19 and accepted said marriage proposal.

A sadness quickly washed over my heart as I remembered my parents were not there to share my happiness.

"Do not do that, Sweet Pea," aunt Jules offered a comforting hand on my shoulder. "I can feel your anguish, but know that Abraham and I are here for you," she kissed my forehead.

"Thank you, aunty."

"Now let's get this dress on," she grimaced when she looked at the skimpy design, but Zander said that usually, both parties were naked during the ceremony. But because I was not a werewolf, I could be clothed.

Aunty helped me into the off-white mermaid style dress, it had a plunging neckline that ended just above my navel. My back was bare, and the dress had rhinestones that sparkled under the lights from top to bottom.
